Hadija Jabiri, an accomplished entrepreneur with a background in Business Administration, is the Founder and CEO of GBRI, a pioneering agribusiness dedicated to transforming agriculture into a sustainable and profitable sector. She has empowered over 10,000 smallholder farmers—primarily women and youth—across Tanzania and Burundi through innovative practices in production, value addition, and the export of high-quality horticultural produce to markets in Europe and Asia.
As the founder of Agriedo Limited, Hadija also leads agribusiness consultancy and youth-focused programs. Her exceptional contributions to the sector have earned her prestigious accolades, including the Women’s Award of Excellence in Agribusiness (2018) and the Feed the Future GroWe Award (2021).
She serves on various public and private sector boards, including the Tanzania Fertilizer Regulatory Authority and ASPIRES Tanzania, demonstrating her commitment to advancing agricultural policies and institutional reforms.
