"CARE International in Tanzania was honored with a certificate of recognition for our outstanding support in the facilitation of the Generation Equality Forum."

CARE International in Tanzania participated in the prestigious Annual Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) Forum, where over 1,500 people from 2,000 NGOs in different parts of the country attended. The forum discussed ways to improve the working environment of NGOs, including benefiting from tax relief, funding opportunities, and recognition for their contribution to the country’s sustainable development.

The event unfolded in the heart of Dodoma, Tanzania, from the 3rd to the 5th of October, graced by none other than the distinguished Vice President, Hon. Dr. Philip Isdor Mpango, as the guest of honor.

In a moment of immense pride and recognition, CARE International in Tanzania was honored with a certificate of recognition for our outstanding support in the facilitation of the Generation Equality Forum. This accolade is a testament to the tireless dedication and passion that define CARE’s mission in promoting gender equality and unlocking women’s economic independence.

A pivotal highlight of this remarkable event was the launch of the NGO digital map. This map promises to be a transformative tool, offering unprecedented accessibility to information about the locations and initiatives of all NGOs. It exemplifies the government’s unwavering commitment to providing a conducive platform for NGOs to thrive and serve their communities effectively.
