On October 8th, 2024, CARE Tanzania proudly partnered with a home-grown ANDRE & ROSS Co. Ltd, a leading tech company, to sign a landmark Memorandum of Understanding. Together, CARE Tanzania and ANDRE & ROSS Co. Ltd are poised to revolutionize agriculture in Tanzania through the Scaling-up of Farmers Field Business School (FFBS) project and Shamba Darasa Imara na Ustadi (SADIFU) project that are implemented by CARE Tanzania in the Iringa and Njombe regions.

We will connect around 10,000 small-scale farmers, organized into groups of 25–30, to a wide range of essential resources through the e-mazao platform

Says, Prudence Masako

With E-Mazao, a cutting-edge digital marketplace, farmers will be able to access farm inputs, financial services, and storage facilities to markets, insurance, and agronomy support.” Says, Prudence Masako, CARE Tanzania, Country Director.

This collaboration not only enhances the accessibility and affordability of critical farm inputs but also opens reliable market opportunities, boosting farmers’ productivity and profitability.

Together, we are building a future where farmers can thrive!
